In the beginning, at Orkut.com, the largest relationship-oriented website, there was no easy or fast way to send messages automatically. That is, Orkut users with a great number of friends could only message these friends individually. That’s when I had the idea to build a program that could do it automatically. I needed a fast and safe way to send messages to my Orkut contacts. After an entire night programming I had created Flood Tudo 1.2. The program was made from scratch by means of sheer ideology, and distributed, initially, for free. It worked, but the program started being used in a way I could have never foreseen, and it took incredible proportions inside Orkut.com. When I finally realized Flood Tudo 1.2 had blown out of proportion I ceased its distribution, but it was too late: the software had generated an incredible amount of net traffic, causing Orkut.com to update its system and block Flood Tudo 1.2. Although it was used improperly by some, Flood Tudo 1.2 became a hit. So I updated it and made several modifications to the program, so that it could be used in a way that it could ease navigation in orkut.com -- which was the primary idea all along: building a tool that would make orkut.com navigation easier. Because of it being a success, APC Software was born, a website with the intent to make Flood Tudo programs available -- currently in several modules. APC Software is the first to build and release navigation tools for orkut.com. Flood Tudo’s success was so great that now some websites make similar (and, in some cases, even plagiarized) programs available.
